Patriot Place Foodie Friday: Six String Grill & Stage

Since first opening their doors in May 2019, Six String Grill & Stage is a slice of Nashville in Foxborough. Serving up a Southern-inspired menu, live music, weekly country line dancing and a myriad of family activities, Six String is the largest restaurant and live music venue at Patriot Place. Notable acts such as Garth Brooks, Bret Michaels, Night Ranger, Jimmie Allen and more have lit up the stage in the past three-plus years. And they’re just getting started. In March, they host two hot new artists – Shane Profitt and Travis Denning, and welcome back chart-toppers Parmalee and Eli Young Band in April.

Six String’s menu features Southern staples like Fried Pickles, Chicken & Waffles, Nola Gumbo and Pulled Pork BBQ flatbread, but the marquee standout is the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. This fiery dish pays homage to Six String’s Nashville inspiration and is battered in spiced buttermilk and fried dark, then topped with house-made Nashville hot sauce, pickles, mayo and lettuce on a country bulky roll and served with seasoned fries. Looking for a spicy kick on the lighter side? Try the Southwest Salad featuring blackened chicken breast, mixed greens, corn salsa, avocado, pepper jack cheese, corn tortillas and ranch dressing.

The cocktail menu is a crowd pleaser, serving cocktail pitchers of Sangrias and Margaritas, as well as 120-ounce Beer Towers. Bring your besties for weekend brunch and share a Mimosa Tower. The guitar-shaped bar features dozens of beer selections from local crafts to domestic favorites with more than a dozen on-tap. If you want something with a little kick, try the Spicy Mango Margarita made with ghost tequila, mango, house sour and a touch of fresh lime.

One element that rarely goes unnoticed is Dolly Parton herself. Made with over 15,000 guitar picks by local artist Blind Fox Art, Dolly is the perfect photo op.
