Brothers McCann is impressively taking New England by storm, cultivating their “organic pop” sound with every performance. With their debut album, Different Colors, and a busy road schedule, they continue to welcome new members into the Brothers McCann Family. Like the members of the band, their music is expressively authentic. With soulful, folk-pop roots, Brothers McCann tunes range from introspective falsetto narratives to intensely full and invigorating jams with acoustic tonalities. One of the most salient characteristics of Brothers McCann is the propensity for weaving staggering 3-part harmony into full-blown rock and roll. The originality of Mike and Pat’s songwriting is veiled with a friendliness that makes the melodies memorable upon first listen – and impossible not to sing along to! At any given live show there is a palpably strong connection between the band and the crowd that is born out of obvious gratitude, humility, and a downright love for music.

Sarah RabDAU & Self-Employed Assassins formed on the internet while drummer Matt Graber was living in Israel, and singer/songwriter/piano-wielder was looking for players in her homebase of Boston. Three years ago Graber returned to Massachusetts so the dynamic duo could assemble their eponymous debut record. The record, brimming with passionate pop, showcases Rabdau’s stellar voice aching and exalting against Matt’s frenetic yet melodic drumming. The Daily News has dubbed them a ‘pitch-perfect team’, and their video for ‘Autumn Spills’ has been featured on Bravo!Videos, Skope.TV, Boston Underground Film Festival, and earned the audience award for Best Music Video at SENE Film Festival. They have shared the stage with Wakey!Wakey!, Nicole Atkins, and Bowerbirds.

Girls Guns & Glory didn’t set out to travel a well worn path or fall in line with what‘s popular at the moment. They set out to break new ground and push Americana music to the forefront of people's minds. While their music draws from the traditional country sounds of Hank Williams and the high energy rock ‘n’ roll of Chuck Berry’s guitar, Girls Guns & Glory has taken their influences and blended them into something entirely original, modern and exciting. When front man Ward Hayden is asked how to compare and describe their sound, with much admiration he states, "Imagine Hank or Jimmy Rodgers in modern times wailing away with a high and lonesome yodel, with Danko and The Band holding the rhythm hard and steady. It's vital that each tune get christened with the rock ’n’ roll abandon of Chuck‘s licks or the tasteful, subtle textures that Chris Hersch brings to the table. We believe in variety and have been students of many different genres. This group brings all our influences to life in the melding of American Roots Music. We'll switch from Blues, to Country, to Folk, to Western Swing and Rockabilly within the confines of a single performance." He continues, "Ultimately we're purveyors of the soul of Rock 'n' Roll, which means no limitations"
Since their formation in 2005, GGG has gone on to take home Top Honors at the 2008 Boston Music Awards, winning “Act of the Year,” a first for a band of their genre. Earlier that year the boys won the legendary WBCN Rock ’n’ Roll Rumble, the only time in the 30 year history of the event an Americana/Country act has done so.

A witty and soulful performer, with an incredibly unique voice, Sarah, her black guitar, and mandolin, "Mandy," have their sights set on the stars, and agreeably so, says Candy O'Terry of Magic 106.7, Boston. “I believe she’s a young artist that our listeners should know about, and I love the fact that she’s an artist with a social conscience.” She is currently in the process of recording her second album, slated for release come fall/winter 2010.
