Santa's Wonderland Preview Night
November 7, 2009
Bass Pro Shops stores will kick off the Christmas season with a special Preview Night Saturday, November 7th from 3 pm to 8 pm. Local children’s groups and carolers will be singing in front of the store and customers will be treated to hot chocolate and cookies. Santa arrives in a Tracker® boat pulled by a Toyota Tundra truck at 3pm. Kids will be invited to help Santa, through a little magic, light a big Christmas tree in the main entrance and then on into the store for the unveiling of Santa’s Wonderland. Also, Santa will be giving away a $25 Bass Pro Shops gift card to one lucky winner every half hour that night. Kids will enjoy the special FREE craft of coloring their own stocking at the activity tables.

 Live Fish Feeding

Join us every Tuesday and Thursday in 2009 at 6:30pm, as well as every Saturday at 1:30pm, for one of our most popular events. Both kids and adults will enjoy our regular schedule of live fish feedings at our 34,000 gallon, freshwater, educational aquarium hosted by the aquarists from Concept Aquatics. The aquarium is filled with over 400 native Massachusetts fish (courtesy of the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife). *** On Saturdays only, you may even be chosen to be our honorary fish feeder of the day! ***

 Massachusetts Deer Checking Station

Bring your deer taken in Massachusetts to Bass Pro Shops to check them in as we are an official Massachusetts checking station. You can also check in any coyotes taken in Massachusetts. With any deer that is checked in you will receive a 10% discount coupon good at the store subject to normal coupon restrictions. You will also be entered into our big buck contest where the largest deer checked in by dressed weight during the 2009 season will receive a $50 Bass Pro Shops gift card.Good luck hunting!!!

 NRA Basic Pistol Course
October 7, 2009 - January 23, 2010
Bass Pro Shops in Foxborough is hosting the NRA Basic Pistol Course which is valid to apply for a Massachusetts firearms identification card or license to carry. Classroom training is held 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the store. Range time is held at Mansfield Fish & Game on Saturday. Attendees will receive eye and ear protection to use which they can keep upon completion of the course. Come and learn safe firearm handling, shooting and gun fundamentals and how to select, clean and store a firearm. To take the course participants must be at least 21 years of age and they must attend all classroom and range sessions.
