As the Plymouth, Mass. native strolled through the aisles of Bass Pro Shops at Patriot Place on Monday, Hahn filled his cart to the gills with fishing gear, lures and that new fishing pole as the Make-A-Wish Foundation sponsored his shopping spree. The 17-year-old Plymouth North student picked out $2,600 worth of merchandise and was given an additional surprise when he learned that he’d also receive a two-seat kayak compliment of the outdoor superstore.

Live Fish Feeding

Join us every Tuesday and Thursday in 2008 at 6:30pm, as well as every Saturday at 1:30pm, for one of our most popular events. Both kids and adults will enjoy our regular schedule of live fish feedings at our 34,000 gallon, freshwater, educational aquarium hosted by the aquarists from Concept Aquatics. The aquarium is filled with over 400 native Massachusetts fish (courtesy of the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife). *** On Saturdays only, you may even be chosen to be our honorary fish feeder of the day! ***

FREE FAMILY SUMMER CAMP
May 30, 2009 - July 5, 2009
Beginning Saturday, May 30th and continuing through Sunday, July 5th, FREE Family Summer Camp events will be held at Bass Pro Shops.
Every Saturday and Sunday stores will be offering FREE craft activities for the kids including decorating a fishing bobber, making key chains, designing their own birdhouse, creating plaster animal tracks and painting a souvenir wooden lure for Dad.
The whole family will enjoy FREE outdoor workshops about hiking, camping and fishing basics. Other workshops include bird watching, archery, animal identification, plants & insects, and even how to make campfire S’mores. Kids will earn a FREE collectable pin for every workshop completed.

NRA Basic Pistol Course
April 29, 2009 - June 27, 2009
This course is valid to apply for a Massachusetts Firearms License (Firearms Identification Card or License to Carry)

- May 20th, 21st, and 23rd
- June 17th, 18th, and 20th
- June 23rd, 25th, and 27th
Classroom training is held 6:00pm – 9:00pm at Bass Pro Shops, Foxboro Range Time is held at Mansfield Fish & Game on Saturday
Course Cost $120
Each attendee will receive eye and ear protection to use and keep upon completion of the course.
Course Requirements:
- Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Participants must be available to attend all classroom and range sessions.

Fly Casting

Come join us at the White River Fly Shop for our fly casting instruction every Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 taught by one of our local professional staff. The instruction is designed for all levels of abilities from the beginner to the advanced. The classes will be held outdoors behind the store, weather permitting. No reservations are needed. Come join the fun.
